GM Ryan Grigson earned Executive of the Year honors for his stellar job turning the franchise around in 2012. The team went from 2-14 to 11-5 and made the playoffs. Grigson had an amazing draft class in 2012 and brought in enough veteran players on both sides of the ball to add toughness, attitude and work ethic to a franchise desperately needing it after the owner had a fire sale.
The Colts bounced back in week 2 of the preseason to defeat the Giants 20-12. The team had a solid performance on both offense and defensive side of the ball. The starters clearly outplayed the Giants starters and took a 14 point lead into the half. Luck was stellar and the defense had six sacks on the night.
The Indianapolis Colts have activated Ahmad Bradshaw off of the PUP list on Monday August 12. He was worked into the flow of practice on Tuesday and Wednesday only in terms of learning the plays and the cadence, among other mental aspects of the offense. Bradshaw most likely won’t see any actual on-field drills until next week at the earliest.
